We do not add names to the list without a holding deposit. There is no published minimum on this page. After you submit the form, our team will reply with the deposit amount and payment instructions.

We reply with the deposit
Once support reviews your application, we send the holding-deposit amount and how to pay. Nothing is charged on this page, and there is no published minimum.

Pay to confirm your place
Your name is added to the list when that deposit is received. You will get written confirmation of your wait-list position. Please keep that email.

Choose from the next litter
When kittens from the next litter are ready to be reserved, we contact wait-list families first, in deposit order, so you can choose before the litter is offered publicly.

We raise a small number of Oriental Shorthairs in the home. The waiting list is how we plan the next placements with care.

Joining the list reserves your order of contact. You choose a kitten when the next litter is offered. We cannot promise a specific color, sex, or go-home date until that litter arrives.

Our queens are bred on a planned schedule. We do not publish a guaranteed birth date. Wait-list families are always notified privately before a new litter is listed for everyone else.

If we cannot make a fair match
If we cannot offer a kitten that reasonably matches what you asked for on the form, you may keep your place for a later litter or receive a full refund of the holding deposit. That choice is yours.

Do I have to pay a deposit to join the waiting list?
Yes. A holding deposit is required. We do not publish a minimum amount on this page. After you submit the form, our team will reply with the deposit amount and payment instructions. Your place is confirmed when that payment is received.
How much is the holding deposit?
The amount is not listed here. Once support responds to your application, we will send the holding-deposit amount and how to pay.
When is my place actually confirmed?
After support responds with the deposit details and we receive that payment, not when you submit the form. You will get written confirmation with your position once payment clears.
Is the deposit refundable?
The holding deposit is applied in full toward the purchase price of your kitten. Terms are confirmed in writing when we send the deposit amount. If we cannot offer a kitten that reasonably matches what you asked for on the form, you may stay on for a later litter or receive a refund of the holding deposit. That choice is yours.
Do I get to pick a specific kitten?
Not at sign-up. The list holds your order of contact. When the next litter is ready to be reserved, we reach wait-list families first, in the order deposits were received, and you choose from the kittens offered at that time.
What if kittens are available right now?
You do not need the waiting list for a kitten already listed. See Available Kittens and use the Kitten Application to request that kitten by name.
How long will I wait?
It depends on the next planned litter and how many families are ahead of you. We will not invent a date. You will hear from us as soon as kittens from the next litter can be reserved, and you can email us anytime for an honest update.
Are the kittens health-checked?
Yes. Every Lipka’s kitten is home-raised, well-socialized, vet-checked, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. Placement terms are confirmed in the sales contract when you reserve.
